Dearest Calvin,

Have just received your card to Mary, paper to Edna, and letter from Saskatoon. Was very thankful to know, your railway journey was over, accidents seem to be of daily occurrence. We are getting caps packed up and a bag, think the girls have made it too small, too short, but let us know and we can easily send you another. We hear that Colin F. has taken very ill in Toronto, suppose he was there for Knox closing and it was decided to bring him here for operation, gall stones, but have really no definite information from Mrs. Fletcher, only heard yesterday.

Hope by this time you received paper showing you had passed. Pleasure to have it off your mind. It is fine and spring like this morning but has been very stormy and cold.

Saturday Mrs. Heurner [Mullin] gave Mrs. Mullin a 5 o'clock "tea" in honour of the latter's birth-day. I went and Mrs. Thomson too but we were both quite tired after, though I was none the worse and went to Church next morning. Poor Lady Taylor cut her thumb, blood poisoning ensued, the nail had to be taken off, you can imagine the rest, so Joe is left again with his "Mommie" as he told us. Have you ordered the Globe to be sent you, let me know if you have not. Well I must run with much love from all.
