As last evening we had Mission Board Social, to-day is "After the Ball," however tho' tired we are happy. M. will be telling you about it, the house looked handsomest and people seemed to enjoy it. H. came home on Monday night after a week in Oakville. Edna was sleeping and rating well, I have been doing the same, for it was a rest for me to have E. away for awhile. I came across three pairs of your cotton socks, shall I send them with the padlock? I am going to send you the numbers of those pellets and the dose for the morning, the prescription I got from Dr. Caven. The pellets Mr. Mach told me only contained 1/2 gr. of calomel,¹ so to be of much use you could take two and full dose of the other. I tried the cascara too, it is quite a pleasant thing, taken either night before or morning. Mr. Ketchen thinks it best taken a teaspoonful in good hot water, 15 minutes before breakfast. It might be well for you to take a bottle of it. You have to be careful to avoid cold after calomel. Suppose you are in middle of exams. Heard from Maggie [MacKay] White. Willie will have $3000 a year, Leila worrying all the time over delay, has wired for her husband. As M. is waiting and I am rather stupid, though quite well, will close with much love.
