W6549 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his sister Ruby McQuesten
Oct 12 1909
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten Glenhurst, Saskatchewan
From: Gravenhurst, Ontario

Dearest Cal,

Just a note to direct your meanderings in these parts. Mr. McK. [McKeracher] has or will probably tell you where you're to stay, Sat.1 I won't expect to see you for it will be late & you have your work the next day, but come with your gear Sunday morning & perhaps afternoon you'll be busy. Our Sunday dinner would be too late for your evening service so if you can come in the afternoon tell the people you'll be back for tea for I'll have to send you off.

The Parfitts seemed so disappointed when they did not see Hilda that I'm really anxious you should pay a little call on them. Mr. Parfitt is lovely & both have been good to me. In thinking over your time I thought perhaps Sunday night after church would be best. The doctor says he's always at home then. He's not staying at home on your account so don't feel obliged to go but I thought it would leave Monday clear for me & if you care to do as Hilda did you can eat here whatever meals you'll have.2 Hoping you're not tired after your trip. With much love.

Your affec'ate sister

Ruby
