W7154 TO MARY BAKER MCQUESTEN from her son Rev. Calvin McQuesten
Sep 2 1934
To: Mary Baker McQuesten 'Whitehern' Hamilton, Ontario
From: Hotel Morin, Gaspe, Quebec

My dearest Mother,

Your letter with the Home Mission cheque reached me last night, the latest mail before I leave tomorrow morning. So it was just in time, although I shall not need any of it, as the Money Order from Hilda will more than bring me home.

This morning I attended the Anglican service, and heard an excellent sermon on "Let your light shine." This evening there is no service. So I am now going out to say good-bye to two or three people who have been particularly kind to me.

Have never enjoyed a holiday more, but shall be so glad to see you again, dear little thing.

With much love,

Your affectionate son

Calvin
