W7352 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Alex Grant Oct 2 1902 To: Montreal, Quebec From: Dear Calvin,
Pardon my delay in acknowledging the receipt of the papers you so kindly sent me. Your kindness is only exceeded by your generosity. I have been really very busy lately. School commenced yesterday as I am fairly started now and I think I shall enjoy it very much.
I am settled at 150 West 84th St., New York, N.Y. and I guess it will be my permanent place of residence for a little while anyway. Do just put that in your note book and you know what to do as soon as you strike this town.
I have some news which I am sure will interest you. I received a letter yesterday from my old college chum W.J. Wright commonly called "Buck." He has decided to take the fatal step at last and wishes me to support him throughout the trying ordeal. He expects it to take place on Christmas day, so I suppose I shall visit my native land about that time. But what do you think of Wright being so rash? It really killed me.
Give my kindest regards and my address to our dear friends Bernice K. I am well [?] and Burnside Robinson. And believe me,
very sincerely yours,
Alex Grant1
