W7397 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from G. Rockcliffe Knight Feb 8 1903 Sunday Aft. [approximate date] To: Calvin McQuesten Montreal, Quebec From: 124 University Ave., Toronto, OntarioDear Mr. McQuesten,
I was very glad to get a letter from you written like your old self & certainly the one I received last summer annoyed me too much to even answer it. However, we will not say any more about it, & shake hands & make it up. Eh! and I shall always be very glad to hear from you.
You make me envy you when you describe the ideal winter sports that you are enjoying. I should love to visit Montreal, perhaps I may some day as we have several friends there who are always asking me to visit them. You may be surprised at our change of address. The Conservatory people bought the Arde St. houses so we all had to look for other quarters & are going to look for a small house, but they seem to be very scarce. So I really do not know how we are to manage. I should like very much to go to the Island again. I never enjoyed a summer so much & I have been keeping it up all winter. Have had such a jolly season & I will not be sorry when Lent comes for a rest.
How is your Mother? I hope she is stronger & the girls. I suppose you hear very often from home to cheer you up.
Au-revoir. With kindest regards & very many thanks for pretty calendar.
Sincerely yours,
G. Rockcliffe Knight
