W7411 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Emily MacLeod Moore
May 4 1903
To: [Rev.] Calvin McQuesten [Montreal, Quebec]
From: Stanley Flats, Room W, Doon, West, Ontario

My dear Mr. McQuesten,

When I last saw you I quite forgot to ask if you would care for the loan of a few top notch goods, such as a table for writing upon; a chair a small corner washstand and set of bedroom crockery all very plain, and of no such value except as a matter of convenience. The articles which we have here, are very much at your service if required but if not, pray have no hesitation in saying no. I shall understand perfectly.

Yours very sincerely

Emily Macleod Moore1

We have been informed of the mother-daughter relationship by Debbie Culbertson in the History Department at the University of Alberta, who is doing research for a graduate degree thesis on three women journalists, one of whom is Mary E. MacLeod Moore (E-Mail, Sept. 2005).
