W7420 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Phyllis E. Fletcher
Jun 15 1903
To: Calvin McQuesten Montreal, Quebec
From: 'The Manse,' MacNab Church

My dear Calvin,

How very kind of you to send me those two papers with your very nice article and such a good picture. What we hoped for is now a reality, and I hope my dear husband is bearing the strain well. We had our first letter from Vancouver this morning--They had a delightful journey out, perfect weather, congenial company, and good appetites. The work is evidently going on pleasantly in the Assembly, and even the Wilkie case1 is being discussed amicably.

Did you notice about the Luncheon given by the civic authorities. Quite a new departure, isn't it?

Mr. Colin and I are going out to Mansewood to morrow to pay Mrs. Gregory a little visit, but we have to get up very early.

Your pew was as usual well filled yesterday and mother looking very well I thought.

Wilkie was quite inspired going through the Rockies so we may be getting some effusions later on. Anne had one on a postal to-day.

With many thanks, appreciative thanks, I am, dear Calvin, your sincere friend.

Phyllis E. Fletcher
