W7474 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from J. W. Jaffary
Apr 12 1904
To: Calvin McQuesten Standoff, Alberta
From: Macleod, Alberta

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

Some months ago I asked Mr. Herdman to visit Macleod & last Saturday he wrote me saying that he would be willing to spend next Sabbath the 17th in this vicinity but he wished to see one or two points in your field as well on that day. I saw him last night & we arranged that he would speak at Rathwell in the morning at 11 & join you, after the morning service here, to go to Slide Ont. He then will return for the evening here & speak to our congregation on Home Missions. This will relieve you of the service, in whole or in part as you may choose, in the evg. in Macleod, but will make you responsible for the morning service.

I tried to get the Methodist people here to allow us to have our meeting at Rathwell at 3 o'clock, but they did not agree, so that we had no choice but take the morning there. Will you be able to go over the Rathwell district pretty well & let the people know of it? I would suggest that your meeting be held in the School House as affording more room, but of that you will know. When you come on Saturday we will arrange the transportation.

With kind regards,

Yours faithfully

J. W. Jaffary
