W7506 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from J. A. Jaffary
Aug 16 1904
To: Calvin McQuesten Stand Off, Alberta
From: Macleod, Alberta

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I am very sorry to write altering the plan proposed in my last re an exchange next Sabbath. Will it upset your plans badly if I postpone it till some Sunday in Sept., 4th or 18th as may suit you?

After writing you I had word from Mr. Leith of Caronana on whom I was depending to supply Lethbridge, on the 14th, 21st or 25th, that he would not come. This left me hopeless respecting supply. I had wired & written till I was weary & all in vain. I accordingly proposed to my Session to drop a Sunday here & let me go to Lethbridge. This they agreed to, and the 21st is the day that suits much better than the 28th. I therefore made bold to arrange to go & to ask you to hold our exchange over till a later date.

Mrs. Jaffary writes that she is enjoying her visit very much.

With kind regards, I am,

Very sincerely yours

J. A. Jaffary.

(P.S.) I had hoped to get your word on Friday or Saturday by Mr. McNeil but in this was disappointed. Thus I thought to prevent you making any announcements. J. A. J.
