W7524 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from J. A. Dow
Jul 3 1905
To: Calvin McQuesten [Muskoka]
From: Gravenhurst, Ontario

My dear Mr. McQuesten,

Yours of Saturday reached me to-day. I think you are right in concentrating your energies on your own end of the field. I have written Mr. Cochrane that I will be responsible for supply at Windermere & the Royal for the 9th and 16th. It was Saturday forenoon before I learned that there was no man for the 2nd and I was then too far away to do anything. There was a tourist Presbyterian minister on the ground but he would not promise any help. So likely there was no service but the loss may not be serious.

We need not overtax your energies with the care of too many churches. I am afraid you will face that with such a big territory and so many overseers you are in danger of being swamped.

For my part I think you better be free of all responsibility re, the Rosseau Lake side.

Hope you will have much comfort & success in the season's work.

Yours very truly

J. A. Dow
