Dear Mr. McQuestion [sic],

I have been around collecting for you but did not meet with much success.

Mr. McFarquar to leave some money for me at Barnes drug store on Monday but did not do so & I am given to understand that Mr. [?] has collected some & shall see him to day, if possible, if I do not I will forward what I have received. Wishing you a Bright New Year.
