I will at once ease your mind, no I am not married, I am open for engagements. I suppose you have had strange flutterings round the region of your heart during the last twenty four hours, sensations you could not understand not knowing the Apple of your eye was walking the same streets and in the same city as yourself, but aside from jokes.
Poor Matt lost his wife she died two weeks ago so I am going to mother another
baby this time a boy. Matt is so worried, he is afraid it is failing much since its mother died, he has three little girls. Their Grandmother has been ill in bed requiring the care of a trained nurse, so poor boy, I fancy he will be glad to see me. Margret will write you all about the "kid" re [?] etc . etc. I go today to Watford, hope you are well also happy.
Sincerely yours
Marion Kelly
