Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I am so sorry to say that I have not the money to send you at present owing to the severe winter and the impassable conditions of the roads, but hope to be able to accomadate [sic] you in near future, I am sorry to have kept you waiting so long for it.

Mr. Tait sends kindest regards also Mr. & Mrs. Cornell.

The winter was very severe here having been so low as 50 below zero, but it did us no harm in Stock only in hauling and delivering our produce.
