My Dear Mac,

Have your letter of a month or so ago, one of Apr. 19 & also one of Apr. 22. The reason that I have not answered before this is that I enclosed your letter to Day and asked him to look into the matter & write you, & until I heard from him I tho't it was no use writing. I have seen Day since & he tells me that he & Mittiman are at loggerheads but he is going to him straight concerning the matter. There is $5 of his own & $5 of McCrae's & I think he said some one else's to show up & he is hoping to catch Mittiman when he has it, if not he is not likely to get it. I shall not slap him however & will do with it as you say, all but the $4 you are short which if I get, I will forward.

Am also enclosing film of yourself & Comet. Pardon long delay. I too, I fear, am getting western ways. This is Sat. & Sunday sermon is not yet out of the way, so I must stop, success to exams. Let me hear from you again.

Sincerely,

Tait.
