Mr. Calvin McQuesten,

Dear sir I now take the plesure of writing you a few lines to let you know we are all well hopeing1 you are the same we are all at home at present ecept Tom and he is at Saskatoon I got your welcom letter about ten minutes ago I guess it has been delayed on the road. As regards to Nigger2 he is as fat as a pig and in good hart he has been very goad sence you left. I am glad I bought him I have got him broak dubble and he goes fine I am verry sorry I could not get you your money for him at the time that I stated as Mr & M Tamblys who owed me money could not pay me. But hopeing you are not needing the money and that you will forgiv me. I will try and get you the money as soon as posible I have it now if I had it colected up. Well we are having very fine weather this winter we have about one inch of snow out here. Well I think this all the niews this time I remain yours truely,
