Recived you loving present last week and thank you ever so much we had a lovely day Xmas day but our first good snow storm came the day after it is quite a change from last year.

The boys are digging at the well I think they are down forty feet if pigger fell in to it now it would be all day with him Mother has gone down East and Rebecca and I are keeping hourse for the backelors and they are a hard lot to satisfy Nelson Saunders is here and wishes to be remembered to you well I will have to close thanking you again for the lovely present I remain as ever,
