W7753 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Hannah Clark
May 18 1908
To: Calvin McQuesten Glenhurst, Saskatchewan
From: Milden, Saskatchewan

Mr. McQuesten,
Dear friend,

I am up against writing to you again. it seems to be my lot. hope it does not annoy you.1

The boys have asked me to write and let you know that circumstances alter cases and that owing to the rain last week and the well has gone astray so that it must be attended to. they will not be able to attend to your little business this week. but will if at all possible attend to it the following week. hoping this does not put you to any annoyance. sorry we did not know in time to let you know by mail, Friday, but the boys were away to Harrys place and did not get home until Saterday night. Isaac was at Saskatoon last week on a mission to bring Mr and Mrs Alex MacPhadden in. We are all well and hope you are the same.

Yours truly

Hannah Clark

[P.S.] Don't forget to come and again soon. Since Mrs. McQuesten2 has arrived as I see by the paper you would perhaps just as soon the boys didnt come this week anyway

Congratulations

HC

1 This letter was written with several errors in spelling and punctuation.

2 This is likely incorrect, since there is no record that Mrs. McQuesten ever visited Calvin in Saskatchewan.
