W7792 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Laura Hostetter
Feb 16 1909
To: Calvin McQuesten Knox College, Toronto, Ontario
From: Tacoma, Washington

Dear Mr. Calvin,

This is almost an apology for a letter & also to apologize for being so long in writing to thank you for the Christmas remembrance. I should certainly miss them did they not come. I really expected to get off another Valentine cutey, but so much engaged I never had a moment, have hardly had since Christmas. You didn't respond to my last Valentine, but then I am of a forgiving nature.

All being well I leave for home tomorrow morning. How strange it seems I am beginning to feel badly saying goodbye to so many kind & dear friends here & then I will find great changes at home doubtless. I am expecting a man for my trunk any time now. At the last so much to see to & I do hope all my friends will know me when I get back. It will be nice to see you all again. Have to pack now. Ever your sincere friend,

Laura Hostetter

[P.S.] You will excuse briefness, I know. I must run.
