W7810 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Edmund H. Oliver Nov 14 1909 To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten Knox College, Toronto, Ontario From: University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SaskatchewanMy dear Calvin,
I thank you very heartily for giving me the opportunity to subscribe toward the illuminated address. It was very thoughtful of you, Calvin, and I appreciate the privilege of sharing in the good work.
They are giving us a fairly strenuous time. Besides doing all years work in three months and doing the German, I have to give 16 public lectures, 10 here, 3 in Regina, 3 in Moose Jaw, and some undecided address to a Y.M.C.A. Methodist young men's club. But I am feeling very fit just at present. 10 to 18 below here, however, "you don't feel it cold in the West."
We organized a University Y.M.C.A. this week and are sending a delegate to the Rochester Convention. As I expect to be in the East, I shall likely go too? Not so bad for a baby university, is it? Give our respects to girls and staff and love to boys,
Faithfully yours,
Edmund H. Oliver
