W7820 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Andrew Glendinning
Jan 27 1910
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten Knox College, Toronto, Ontario
From: Glenhurst P.O., Saskatchewan

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I received your letter & am glad to hear that you have been enjoying yourself. I was sorry to hear about Don Sutherland. Regarding the breaking1 I think we can do all you want. We have ordered an International Gasoline Tractor 20 H.P. An Aultmann & Taylor Separator and a Mogul Five furrow engine Gang to cost $4220. We also intend to run a horse breaking outfit and an ox one. I have ordered the outfits for the 1st of March as we want to take advantage of the best weather for thrashing the wheat which is in stacks, before we begin to seed.

I suppose when you get your farm broken up that you will rent it on shares. As it is near to us & also that we will have a complete outfit for handling the harvest &c. we would be pleased to have the privilege of renting. I expect we won't be caught in the snow again, except it comes in September. I suppose you will sow oats this year. We would put them in on shares if you wish & I suppose you have heard that Jemima Anderson is married to Alex Smith & living beside Farrer.

I remain,

Yours very truly,

A. Glendinning
