W7822 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Rebecca Anderson

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

Your letter came to hand due and please to hear you recognized most of the faces in the group.

I had a letter from Ed. this week and he says Girl never was fatter or looked better in her life. I hope you will be disappointed in regard to the end of March probably because we are all longing for nice spring weather and soon. The weather is perfect here now could not ask for anything finer, but very wet under foot.

Mrs. Armstrong from Buffalo was enquiring about you yesterday and wanted to no [sic] how soon you would be back. I told her I did not think until about the 15th of April. She said some one had told her that you were going to have Zealandia, Buffalo and Glenhurst, and Mr. Lewis was going to be sent South and would take in Lanark.

One of the students in Macleod told me on Sunday Mr. Rea was going back to Tessier. I see him quite often in town they say he is very clever. I heard him debate once and done fine and his side won.

How is your sister fairing, soon she will be longing for this nice spring weather, will she be able to set [sic] up soon.

I will draw to a close hoping you are enjoying good health as it leaves us all.

I remain, yours sincerely,

Rebecca Anderson
