W8206 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his brother Thomas McQuesten
Apr 14 1908
To: Calvin McQuesten Glenhurst, Saskatchewan
From: Toronto, Ontario

My dear Cal,

Rec'd your letter and paper. Am sorry not to have written before but Sid Sutler was away all last week and I kept waiting to see him to see whether he needed money or not before sending what I had. I am enclosing Post Office Order for 10.00 directed to Calvin McQuesten at Glenhurst Sask. I think that is your nearest Post Office at least I have always written there. Let me know if there is any other place. I am sorry not to be able to send you more but the truth is I am a little close now.

Was glad to hear that you had good prospects of getting all your stuff in order at your shack in good time. It will even be fairly pleasant out there I suppose. You probably got the paper with your results in it which I sent you. You got through in case you didn't.

The work here is getting heavier again. It generally does about this time and keeps up pretty well until August. I do not expect to get off until October.

On Thursday I hope to go home and stay until Monday and incidentally build a sidewalk while there.

I find they will not sell a Post Office order to Glenhurst but am enclosing a Postal note and will register the letter.

Well my dear fellow I hope you are taking care of yourself and not trying to get your own meals. It doesn't pay.

Yours in haste,

T.B. McQuesten

[P.S.] You can fill in the nearest Post-Office on the note.
