W8210 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his brother Thomas McQuesten
Sep 6 1908
To: Calvin McQuesten Glenhurst, Saskatchewan
From: Whitehern, Hamilton, Ontario

My dear Cal,

Just a line to find out what you propose to do next year. I remember your saying you thought it would be an advantage for you to live at Knox College. I think it would if you can get a quiet room and get your meals out if they are not good.

I do not know whether Miss Oates is keeping [sic], I don't think she is, but if you want her to do so you had better let her know immediately as the houses are beginning to fill up. If you decide to go to Knox had you not better write the Stewards.

There is another thing I wanted to speak to you about, could you arrange to have some neighbouring farmer cultivate part of your section next year on a basis of sharing proceeds equally or whatever is usual. If you would have to supply the seed what would it cost?

Had a letter from John K. McQuesten a little while ago in which he was very cordial.

The Mater has had a hard siege but she has almost recovered.

Another of the prolific family of Little is coming down to Varsity. Syd wants me to have him live at 22 Grosvenor.

Let me hear from you about Miss Oates.

Your aff'te brother

T.B. McQuesten
