W8736 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten
Oct 7 1912
To: Reverend Calvin McQuesten [ Bracebridge, Ontario
From: [ Hamilton

My dear Calvin,

Was very glad indeed to see your own handwriting once more and know you were on the mend. Glad to hear from Mary to-day, that you seemed so well, and had been having some fine weather. We have had some lovely days, and I hope it was as fine with you yesterday as it was with us. I was thinking about you and wondering if you drove out to Monck with Mr. Armstrong.

Was glad to know from Mary that she had such a fine appetite and that they she & M. were enjoying themselves so much. It is colder to-day and I hope you will watch carefully against any change of weather. The warm weather seemed a special Providence and I hope it will return. I am wondering if you will really be fit for next Sunday; next month I will be having quite a lot of money coming in, and as I told you I will pay supply for the other Sunday. I could for this too, if you are not really fit.--If you do preach at Bracebridge, be sure and not go to Monck, that would just be most unwise. I have three meetings this week, two next week, and so on. I am sure I have many things to say, but cannot think of anything just now. With very much love.

Your affectionate mother

M. B. McQuesten
